It all started as a football club founded by students from a local school. The Hotspur Football Club later changed its name to Tottenham Hotspur to differentiate themselves from another team, London Hotspur. For several years now, the club is doing well. They managed to make it to the quarter finals of the UEFA cup in 2006/07. The following years they were always participating in the UEFA cup / Europe League. Later, they became part of the top and participated in the Champions League.  A game of ‘The Spurs’ is always a nice experience.
