From Ostend to Switzerland
Our journey began with a flight from Ostend to Basel, where our guests were immediately immersed in Swiss hospitality. After enjoying a welcome cocktail with a panoramic view of the city on a trendy rooftop bar, we visited the iconic St. Jakob-Park, the home stadium of FC Basel.
From Basel, we continued to the charming city of Bern, where the group checked into a luxury hotel (a member of the ‘Leading Hotels of the World’) - carefully selected by way2events. After a day filled with impressions, it was time to unwind. During an exclusive ‘dine and play’ evening, we indulged in a delicious dinner, followed by an exciting night at the casino. A promising start to a three-day incentive filled with nature, luxury, and sporting highlights.
The Untamed Beauty of the Alps
The second day was dedicated to the majestic Jungfrau region – one of the most stunning natural areas in Europe. From the charming town of Interlaken, nestled in a breathtaking mountain landscape, the adventure began with a tricable gondola ride that brought our guests to the impressive Eigergletscher. After a simple yet delightful lunch with views of the snow-covered peaks (a breathtaking setting!), we descended to board a boat on the deep blue waters of Lake Thun. A perfect conclusion to an afternoon filled with unforgettable impressions!
A Journey from Heritage to Modern Football Celebration
The last evening of this Swiss incentive was all about contrasts. It began at a historical Swiss heritage site where our guests enjoyed an exclusive dinner – the perfect preparation for an exciting match. The game took place exceptionally in the stadium of Thun, as Lugano had to relocate due to renovations in their own stadium. In this atmospheric setting, KAA Gent finished their game on Matchday 4 of the Conference League-tounament.
Bern: Historic Charm and Warm Atmosphere
Our final day was entirely devoted to the historic city of Bern. Guided by an experienced guide, we wandered through the cobblestone streets, admired the famous Zytglogge clock tower, and discovered hidden gems that tourists often overlook. To everyone’s delight, the walk through the Swiss capital concluded, as it should in this season, at the festive Christmas market, filled with heartwarming drinks, artisanal products, and cozy stalls. A warm and intimate farewell to this unforgettable incentive!
