Recently, way2events had the pleasure of organizing a fantastic incentive trip for one of our Belgian clients. The goal was to create a three-day journey to the beautiful Dubrovnik, Croatia, which was a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation.
Adventure and Relaxation on day 1
On a clear Wednesday morning, the adventure began with an early flight to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival, we immediately set off for a stunning boat trip from Cavtat. The sparkling Adriatic Sea set the stage for a day of discoveries, starting with an exploration of the enchanting Blue Cave. Participants had the chance to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters and stroll through the serene landscape of Kolocep Island.
The boat then docked at the iconic ancient city walls of Dubrovnik, where the group entered a world rich in history. A delightful lunch awaited in a cozy restaurant in the heart of the city, featuring a tasting of traditional Croatian dishes. Satisfied, we continued to explore the city during a guided tour, learning more about the rich history and daily life of Dubrovnik.
In the evening, the group checked into their hotel. A refreshing dip in the pool and a delicious dinner at the hotel were the perfect end to this first day.
Adrenaline and Nature on day 2
The next day of our incentive began with a breathtaking hike on Mount Srdj, offering a panoramic view of Dubrovnik that was nothing short of impressive. The real adrenaline rush, however, came from ziplining, where participants soared through the air under the guidance of experienced instructors.
A lunch at the harbor was a perfect intermezzo before the group returned to the water, this time in kayaks. In pairs, they paddled to a secluded cave, where they dove into the turquoise waters for a refreshing swim. Back at the hotel, there was time to relax by the pool, followed by a convivial dinner.
Culture and Gastronomy on day 3
On the last day of this incentive trip to Dubrovnik, the team enjoyed a quiet morning, exploring at their own pace before reconvening for lunch at the hotel. The afternoon brought a scenic drive to the picturesque town of Ston, where a boat trip to an oyster farm awaited. Here, the group learned about the cultivation of oysters and mussels, with the highlight being the chance to taste these fresh delicacies on the spot.
The final evening concluded with a dinner in a charming beach bar. With the sound of the waves in the background, we enjoyed a delicious meal before diving into Dubrovnik’s vibrant nightlife for one last drink.
