Cegeka Black Masquerade 2024: A Night of Mystery

On a magical evening in 2024, the surroundings of the Cegeka Arena in Genk transformed into a world of elegance, mystery, and dancing shadows for the staff party "Black Masquerade." Way2events had the honor of organizing this stylish and classy event, where the true identity of the 3,000 visitors remained hidden behind the allure of intriguing masks. This timeless concept, tailor-made for Cegeka employees, offered an unforgettable experience that perfectly combined elegance and mystery.

A Festival Ground of Splendor and Glamour

In addition to the Cegeka Arena, we created a breathtaking festival ground in the enchanting style of Black Masquerade. Every detail was meticulously planned to maximize every second of the visitors' experience. Three unique stages formed the heart of the party: an acoustic live corner in an atmospheric mirror tent, a main stage for large-scale performances, and a dance arena in a glass greenhouse. Guests could also enjoy various food stalls, drink points, and entertainment zones, all imbued with the same atmosphere of mystery and elegance.

Experience and Entertainment: Something for Everyone

Visitors had the chance to fully immerse themselves in a world of mystery and elegance. They could get lost in an intriguing maze, enjoy a refined English High Tea, be mesmerized by a magician's arts, participate in elegant dance workshops, and get made up at a stylish make-up stand. Additionally, there were opportunities to embellish their own masks and participate in a fencing workshop. The carefully curated line-up, detailed festival plan, and thoughtful social media campaign were executed to perfection to maximize the experience on the day itself.

Guardians: Embodiment of Cegeka’s Values

During the event, we introduced several special Guardians who embodied Cegeka’s core values: family, close collaboration, innovation, and craftsmanship. These characters, including the Guardian of Craftsmanship, Guardian of Silence & Mystery, and Guardian of Elegance, created unforgettable moments throughout the evening. They offered guests the opportunity to follow their path and uniquely and meaningfully connect with the essence of Cegeka.

Culinary Delight: A World of Flavor

The culinary offerings during the Black Masquerade were as diverse and refined as the event itself. Employees enjoyed trendy pinsas, flavorful pasta, loaded hummus, and a chic Black Belgian BBQ. Delicious snacks were constantly served, and a late-night snack completed the evening. Thanks to the expertise of Atelier V, a wide range of dishes was served, perfectly in tune with the Black Masquerade theme. The collaboration between Atelier V and Way2events ensured that bars, counters, and cleanup areas were seamlessly integrated into the theme, making the employees feel fully immersed in a world of mystery and elegance.

A Musical Evening Full of Highlights

Considering the diverse audience, consisting of both Belgians and Dutch, we ensured a wide range of musical performances. In the atmospheric mirror tent, visitors enjoyed intimate live performances, while the glass greenhouse was filled with energetic techno and house beats from Belgian and Dutch DJs such as Darkraver and Karakals. On the main stage, visitors could dance exuberantly with all-round DJs like Butterfly Effect and Crazy Sir G. At 10:30 PM, after an impressive gathering of the Guardians, the evening's highlight began: a spectacular show by Lost Frequencies. The night ended with an unforgettable performance by Omdat het Kan & Average Rob, who honored the main stage with their unique style.
